Wave and spray overtopping is possible today, Tuesday 09/04/24 until this mornings high tide has passed, and again between 7.30PM and 9.30PM. Areas most at risk of flooding include properties along the North Bank of the Humber estuary in the West of Hull. We are expecting higher than normal tides over the coming days and as a result we may issue further alerts/warnings. We will continue to monitor levels. This flood warning is in force due to overtopping waves and windblown spray that are expected between 05:45 and 08:45 tomorrow morning 10/02/20. This is a result of Storm Ciara causing strong winds and large waves due to high astronomical tides.
